My tech told me it wouldn't let him move it back to 7 he could take it back to 8 , but, what good would that do . Some point down the road they would either update it themselves to 10 or make me pay for 10. Only reason I got 10 because 8 went so easy and problem free, so, when they put in 10 for free for a limited time for 8 users I went along with it. Didnt know the future updates of 10 would F it up,

Oh please, your tech's an idiot. All computers have a recovery partition that will put it back to it's out of the box condition. You also had the option of making recovery DVDs/USB flash drive when the computer was new. You could have saved everything, restored it to its original condition, block the Windows 10 installation and started fresh. But instead, all you wanted to do is complain.

Millions of people have updated to Windows 10 with no problems. Either you have an old computer that isn't compatible or malware causing the problem. I'm willing to bet had you started over, your computer would have been fine with the Windows 10 update.

I have a mbps of 50 at home.

Wifi, is out, I want ethernet hook up.

Thanks for any feedback. Think this will be 600 at least.

I'm assuming you mean the mac mini and not the ipad mini. The basic mac mini is on the entry level/low level scale as far as ram, graphics cards and hard drive space. It depends what you plan on doing with it. It's fine for just surfing the internet and doing basic functions. The number one drawback is that it's very limited in upgrade ability.

I'm using a Mac Mini with El Capitan OSX 10.11.6. It does everything I need to do. I'm guessing if you are using it for business or other high demand work, you'd need something with more memory and speed.

@SharkE I have an Apple Mini (the one QVC sold with the case that folds up. I even got the soft case with it. The keyboard is the second half of the case, making it totally protected.

I don't use it. When I'm on here I use the Samsung (it's old but it works for me) laptop my daughter gave me. I also have two other Apple tablets. The oldest one is the one I bought when they first came out. I managed to lock that one up (kept giving wrong secret word) and it locked me out. Took my son-in-law a few days but he got into it. Ha!

The other tablet is the light one (I think it's called Apple Air) I don't know. The color is prettier than my old one, maybe it's a little lighter.

Sometimes I take the mini with me when I go to the Drs but I just use my phone most of the time. I sit and read several magazines on my phone. It's lighter and works better.

However, if you were thinking about using it instead of a laptop I can see where this one would work (the mini) as it is just smaller than this laptop I have.

I had one but it was almost 10 years ago. I liked it ok, but it was limited for what I needed. Which is why I switched to an imac. But if it works for you great.

@SharkE That is what happened to my friend. She did not want it and did not ask for the update. It isn't right that they are doing that to people. I got screwed when they went to that crazy Vista. Dummy me ran out and bought the upgrade, and I had nothing but trouble with that. The other thing is I have a very expensive printer. It no longer works with 10. These are things that you don't find out till it is too late.

Try calling and good luck getting anyone that speaks good English. It is enough to make you jump. I hope many people go to the Mac. They deserve to go out of business.

No cons. Go for it. Just check the ports, because some new macbook models are getting rid of sd slots, which is stupid.

Some point down the road they would either update it themselves to 10 or make me pay for 10. Only reason I got 10 because 8 went so easy and problem free, so, when they put in 10 for free for a limited time for 8 users I went along with it. Didnt know the future updates of 10 would F it up,

You would gripe to if you were ambushed. At 65 I don't know a whole lot about partitions I have a life.

I do agree with one thing the tech must be an idiot. LOL
