I only post on Viewpoints but I need your help. I'm not computer savy and have a laptop with a wireless router (Verizon DSL) connected to my phone jack. I am happy with it and have no need to upgrade. However, I belong to a couple of groups that I want to access about 6x a day so I think a tablet is the way to go. I don't want a phone thingy and don't play games; just a simple way to surf the web and go to my e-mail and facebook. Been looking around and asking salesmen, etc. Some say a Kindle Fire but I love the library and don't care about reading books on it; Please, my black Friday gift to myself is this tablet but I am getting so much info I'm still confused. Just want a basic thing with no frills that I can go to without starting up the laptop. Any advice on what I should get? Thanks much.
