You can definitely tell the difference between different brands of charges, even the ones marked "Apple certified". The poor ones charge very slowly.

I've bought "Apple" authorized products on Amazon at very good prices, and they work as well as or better than the ones from the Apple Stores.

Some are real and some are not. My chargers seem to be real, but my earbuds are not. Both were sold as Apple authorized.

Amazon has always been more than happy to refund or replace any item I have had an issue. If you think these are phony? Call them within their return period, and they make it much easier than most every other online retailer to return the item for a refund or an exchange.

Short of setting your house on fire, I don't know how you tell the good ones from the fakes.
