Stupid question. I can't see in the compartment where the plus or minus sign is. So on the battery does the end part of the battery where it sticks out alittle does that side usually go into the compartment where the little squiggly metal piece is or does the flat part of the battery go in the that side? I have tried both ways and the machine won't turn on. Plus I think I bent the little metal piece out alittle and did I mess it up?
