    <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;I have a Tracfone I got from HSN in April. &amp;nbsp;I've been locked out of it; impossible to sign in. &amp;nbsp;Never made or received a call on it. &amp;nbsp;Finally called Tracfone last week, spent 40 minutes with a woman who didn't know what she was doing but finally brilliantly concluded there was something wrong with the phone. &amp;nbsp;She sent me a FedEx envelope to return it and they're going to send me a new one.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>CAUTION with Tracfone</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;We purchased two LG Premier Android phones. &amp;nbsp;Mine came quickly and transferred my old number within one minute. I added APPS and my battery life is very good.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My husbands came later. Yesterday we set up then tried to activate. It would NOT activate. 24 hours later we call Tracfone and got transferred three times to different supervisors etc. &amp;nbsp;They just couldn't get it that this phone has problems and drains the battery without any added apps. They kept trying to tell me it's because it's trying to activate. &amp;nbsp;WELL, my phone would show four bars and his would show two sitting next to one another. &amp;nbsp;Obviously, it would not pick up the signal correctly. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Not until I explained to them that QVC allows us to return an item even if we don't like the color, did they understand I meant business. &amp;nbsp;So be prepared. &amp;nbsp;Tracfone its not always easy. And they want to talk to you to keep something you don't want. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We're going to try another LG Premier but not transfer my husband's old number and see if that makes a difference. &amp;nbsp;It's sad because my phone is great. &amp;nbsp; Maybe having two phones, one for back up will be good for tornado country. &amp;nbsp;LOL &amp;nbsp;If we had not had a Premier that was working perfectly, we may have bought into their excuses since we wouldn't see the difference in performance of signal, battery, and activation. &amp;nbsp;So just be cautious and stick to your guns if we want to return it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;QUITE FRANKLY, Tracfone needs a dedicated customer service phone line just for QVC shoppers. &amp;nbsp;The return policies for QVC do &amp;nbsp;not match up with Tracfone and some of their operators JUST DON'T GET IT.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;Thats a drag. I've been with Tracfone for probably 5 or 6 years and have had at least that many new phones of different brands and the one LG phone I had, did the very same thing. I had to call several times for help and finally---I just sent the stupid phone back to the Q or H#sn, wherever I bought it from,&amp;nbsp; got my $ back and kept the minutes as they couldn't subtract that for some reason. . I have had 2&amp;nbsp; Motorolas, and Samsung and can't remember the other brand plus the LG. Now I have the Samsung Grand Prime from the Q as it was the TSV a few months ago, and have had no problems at all. The phone is awesome too.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Have had the opportunity to need Samsung customer support? Support is everything when goes bad. &amp;nbsp;This is the first time we've had problems. &amp;nbsp;Usually they are great even sent my husband and upgraded phone a while back because they would not longer service the old phone. &amp;nbsp;So this mess really floored us. &amp;nbsp; My LG Premier so far is great. Didn't expect this problem. &amp;nbsp;LOL &amp;nbsp; Hey went the phone keeps telling you to go outside or near a window you KNOW something is wrong. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have bought several Tracfones over the years and they are great phones - won't have anything else.&amp;nbsp; I have purchased from either the Q or HSN because you get the 1350 triple minutes.&amp;nbsp; There usually is an issue trying to activate them.&amp;nbsp; Never fails.&amp;nbsp; But last time I purchased from HSN and called them with my frustration when I couldn't get anyone to fix the problem.&amp;nbsp; The customer service rep took my information, said she would call them, and within 15 minutes my phone was activitated.&amp;nbsp; Their customer service is awesome!&amp;nbsp; I will always purchase my Tracfones from them in the future.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I'm glad your experience was like that. Ours wasn't on the second phone. We're sending it back defective. &amp;nbsp;The battery drained much faster than mine and I added several apps. My husband added nothing. &amp;nbsp;So something is going on with the particular phone. &amp;nbsp;At least I won't panic and just give up on Tracfone completely if I could get service like you did. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I still think that the Q does so much business with them they should have a dedicated line for those who get the 30-day return policy. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I've ordered (and received) two of the LG Premier phones, but haven't activated them yet.&amp;nbsp; Will likely do that tomorrow (and will report back if there's any hassle).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We've had nothing but Tracfones for the past 15 years and we've never had an issue we couldn't resolve in a reasonable time.&amp;nbsp; I admit "in the old days" it could mean a long time on the phone with one of their customer reps, but I've found them to be polite and patient (while I listened carefully to understand them and vice versa).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The past few phones we've had, we've just activated online and without a hitch.&amp;nbsp; We set up accounts for ourselves and find it much easier than phoning.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm already seeing some negative reviews where people are blaming Tracfone for things that aren't their fault.&amp;nbsp; For instance, one recent review is slamming Tracfone and QVC because there isn't a "button" on the phone to transfer all your info and claiming that's what QVC said.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Well, no, it wasn't.&amp;nbsp; The rep clearly stated (and demonstrated) that you needed to download the "Transfer Wizard" app onto both your old and new phones and follow the easy instructions.&amp;nbsp; I've already done that, so I'll be interested to see how well it works tomorrow.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I don't doubt some people have real problems, but I discount a lot of what I read in the negative reviews based on my own experience.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.qvc.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/41391"&gt;@Gogos﻿&lt;/a&gt; - Our previous phones were 3G and I had absolutely no trouble yesterday setting up both of our new LG Premier 4Gs.&amp;nbsp; I had them activated within minutes (literally) by going through our Tracfone accounts and activating them.&amp;nbsp; All of our minutes, data, texts and days of service transferred without a hitch and were added to the bonus minutes and service days included with this new phone.&amp;nbsp; I thought this was the simplest upgrade ever.&amp;nbsp; I even installed 32 GB microSD cards in each phone.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Then I used the Transfer Wizard on both the old and new phones and, again, the transfer of our photos, contacts, logs, etc. were done in minutes (and that's only because our Internet connection is so slow here, otherwise it would've been faster).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The Transfer Wizard &lt;EM&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;does&lt;/STRONG&gt; &lt;/EM&gt;work on a 3G phone.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Sorry you had trouble with one of your phones.&amp;nbsp; Good luck with the replacement!&amp;nbsp; (We kept our numbers, so no issue with that either.)&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.qvc.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/41391"&gt;@Gogos﻿&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp; I used your phone number yesterday to call Tracfone CS. &amp;nbsp;Got the same foreign crew as on the other phone number. &amp;nbsp;They had my returned phone one week and not a peep out of them until I called. &amp;nbsp;Then all of a sudden it would be delivered tomorrow. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;Well, today is tomorrow, and I got the "new" phone but it's a RECONDITIONED, not a new phone. &amp;nbsp;Unacceptable! &amp;nbsp;Beware of the Tracfone warranty. &amp;nbsp;I've had Tracfone service for 6 or 7 years but I'm ready to wash my hands of them.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;Glad you had no problems. &amp;nbsp;My phone reacted as your's did. &amp;nbsp;My husband's NOT. &amp;nbsp;I wrote a letter to CEO of QVC and Patricia called. &amp;nbsp;My husbands's 3G is still not reactivated. &amp;nbsp;So consequently what they &amp;nbsp;have done is confiscate his old number, have not reacted his phone after returning the LG Premier and confiscated his minutes. &amp;nbsp;His 3G still says unregistered sim card. &amp;nbsp;We'll call one more time to Tracfone and then to Patricia's office. &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;My husband said, this is the last Tracfone we'll be buying. &amp;nbsp;They are not reliable when something goes wrong and they don't want to protect the phone you do have because they don't want you returning the new Tracfone under any circumstances despite QVC's return possible.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have found it is much better to buy Tracfones from HSN because they give you a HSN customer service # &amp;nbsp;and they are extremely helpful. I would buy from HSN not QVC.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
