ARE YOU GETTING A NEW IPHONE? HAVE YOU SEEN THEM?

I am going to get a new IPhone but haven't seen them yet. I THINK I'm getting the new 7S, but wondered if you have seen one.

I can't figure out the cost to trade in my old phone. Their site is confusing about just how much you are paying! I don't know whether to get it from ATT or Apple. I HATE trying to figure this stuff out! LOL!!!

No one has seen one yet. The 7S won't come out until 2017. The 2016 model is the 7. No one has seen those in person yet, either. They aren't available until September 16. You can pre-order one now, though.

If you go visit an Apple or AT&T store, a sales associate there can help you figure out how much you would get to trade in your current phone.

When I heard that the 7 might ditch the headphone jack, I went out and bought a 6S on a two year plan. I'm going to give them some time to get that sorted and for people to make cheaper adapters for regular jacks. I use my iPhone for audio in my car and I don't want to buy multiple adapters for my car, the headphones I use at home, and the headphones I use at work. I'll be reading a lot of reviews in the meantime.

Unless you really want the upgraded camera or the water resistance (not water proof!), the 7 might be more phone than you need. I'm guessing based on the fact that you thought it was a 7S that you might not be up on all the lastest stuff, which isn't a problem, but don't get sucked in by the buzz. Check to see what you need from a phone and you might be able to get an iPhone SE or a 6S and save yourself some money.

My friend has an SE, the cheaper version of the iPhone that's the size of the 5/5S models, and it's a fantastic phone. The camera isn't as good as the 6 or higher, but the battery life is better than the 6 and higher phones. My dad has an iPhone 4 or 4S and I'm going to recommend he upgrade to an SE.

If you can use all the features of the 7, you might want to get one. But I'm waiting because they changed the headphone jack, changed the home button, and moved the antennae inside. Last time they moved the antennae, they had a lot of complaints about dropped calls. I find I have better luck with the S models, because they have fewer hardware changes and have generally addressed the issues in the original.

I'm waiting for the 8 that's supposed to be out next year. It's a bigger upgrade than the 7 is which isn't much changed from the 6 and 6s IMO. I'm perfectly happy with my 6 Plus right now.

I also want more time to see how the lack of headphone jack works out. I do not want to be forced to switch to bluetooth headphones all the time and I don't wnat to be dependent on having an adapter with me.

Supposedly there isn't even going to be a 7s, next year is the 10th anniversary of iphone and the rumor mill ( which so far has been very acurate) says the new one will be iphone 8 and be a major change from 6 and 7.

I could not find anything through Apple's site nor Google regarding an iPhone 7S. Howere, I did find info as well as photos regarding the iPhone 7 Plus.....

My brother has the iPhone 6 & is in love w/it. He has no intention of updating to the "7." Said his current phone does everything he wants it to do, including using ear phones.

THANKS from me too! I appreciate and learned from your information! I mis-typed! I am getting the 7Plus! DUH. I want the better camera and some of the other features and I just always go for the latest model when I upgrade. I don't do that as often as many people do, but I always get the latest because whether you love it or not, it is the future. And in tech, you'd better go with the flow.

I am not really into phones, but it's time to get a new one and I think I'll buy the middle priced one for more storage space. That gets eaten up so fast when new features come out and with a better camera the pics should be better.

I've about abandoned my Nikon for my phone now. . . that's still amazing to me (although the Nikon has way better "glass" it's just too big to carry on vacation, so just gets used for work and BIG events.),

I've gotten to the point at which I feel as though I take a decent picture, and I want the big storage!

I am still using an iPhone 5, which meets my needs, so I won't be getting a new iPhone.

I am impressed with the improved technology with the introduction of each new model, but I prefer the size of 5, which is smaller than the newer models (not sure on the specs of the 7).

What my brother does to make more storage space on his iPhone is to transfer the files to his computer. From there, he burns the files onto a DVD.

He also uses Dropbox - iPhone app - Dropbox

Sunshine-yours isn't this one is it? Did you see this re batteries exploding. It was in news several days ago and now warning not to use. I just hoped it wasn't the one you have.(from article by cox media group)

I upgraded from the 4 to the 6 plus 2 years ago because some of the apps I used a lot were no longer being updated on the 4, otherwise I think I'd still have the 4. It was in perfect condition when I turned it in for a $200 credit from AT&T.

I LOVE my 6 plus and will hold on to it until the same thing happens with app support with it. ALthough it is so tempting it get the new one!

no, i am still on my note 4. i only upgrade when absolutely necessary and my note 4 has been good to me for about 2 years now with good speed and lots of memory . i NEVER go for the newest until all of the kinks are ironed out.

I'm glad I never raced to the store for this phone, but since the new phone now has a longer battery life, that alone is worth the trip to get this one.

I have seen them on tv and heard about them. I heard there are many that are not too happy that this version does not have the headphone jack.

I like my Note 5. Samsung has raised the price on the Note 7 to the price of the iPhone. I do not need one until next year.

Gonna pass. I run with my phone on an arm band and I hate blue tooth buds for running, they are heavy and don't stay in, with sunglasses on. I would miss the earphone jack to much.

I got my iPhone 5 right when the 6 came out (can't remember if it was just before or just after) and I really like it. The one feature I wish it had which it doesn't is the apple pay feature which is on my tablet. I don't always have my tablet with me though....so it would be nice to have on the phone. I'm up for an upgrade now, so I could get the iPhone 6. Yesterday I stopped in the Verizon store at the mall and asked if they had any deals on the 6 and they don't yet, but will next week. I'll go back and check it out. My 5 has some cracks on the corner of the screen, but it is working well.......so not sure I want to do this....it will depend on the deal they offer. I paid $39.99 for my 5.......not sure that will ever happen again, but I'll check to see next Friday.

I have had numerous Android phones. I had no objection to the phones at all (except for the LG which was a pos), but once I switched to a Macbook, then I got an iPhone so they would work together, and I am TOTALLY sold on the apple os as opposed to the Android. I can't explain it, but it seems so much more user friendly to me than the Android system.

I will likely get it! The only thing I am worried about is the head phone jack being removed. I have really nice head phones that I want to try to continue to use. I suppose I could get new cordless ones as well!! I pretty much always get the newest Iphone when it comes out---although I don't wait in the long line---I usually wait like a week!!
