LG Premier internal storage

Does anyone know how much internal storage is available after the system and built in apps are deducted ? I know the sd card will give more app storage but it's been my experience that a tracfone with 8gb storage is simply not enough because the system and built in apps use up half or more of the internal storage. I had to clean out data at least once a week. Eventually I purchased a pricier Samsung Galaxy with 16gb internal storage and it made the world of difference.

LG shows Internal Memory 8GB (up to 2.86) usable) listed under technical specs.

Also found this info on Howard Forums

CPU-Z says Internal Storage = 4.22GB. Under the Storage tab in Settings it says 8 GB total with about 3.79 in System Data. Then of course you have the Google programs on top of that which I calculate to be another 1GB. I did the Transfer Wizard when I got it that transferred apps, etc over from other phone so currently I have just under 2 GB left remaining.

Seems like most of the under $100 Tracfone come with 8gb and usually have half of that used in apps. It isn't a problem for me because I use mine only as a phone. If I want to save things that take up many "mb" of storage, they go on my computer or external hard drive, sometimes both.

Sounds like you found what works for you.

If you go to settings and select storage, it will show you how many gb's your phone has and below that it will show a colored bar and below that it will tell you how much you have left. then if you scroll to the bottom you will tell you your sd card size and how much is left on it.

Yes, it's the same as the Ultimate 2, on which I have over 100 songs downloaded, multiple albums in the gallery with beaucoups photos in each--and I still have plenty of storage left. For my needs, it's perfect.
