Small hand lighted magnifying Glass --Need help installing batteries

Not sure how to ask this question clearly. I just got finished googling the problem and got no answer. Imagine that! In any case I am getting no light, no power. The batteries are A!0's. So I ordered them and in they came today. I took out the old ones in the handle, or I should say they fell out. Now I have four to put back in. These are button batteries...need to replace 4. I tried every which way to put them in. No clue and I have spent over an hour researching and trying.

Anyone out there know how to align 4 button batteries. I believe they are like hearing aide batteries. The device is not new so I cannot really call the company. No company to call. Just black handle with lighted glass attached. Opens with small screw driver..... for small screw on handle.

Not without seeing what the batteries go into, not really.

If the device needs more than one, they usually all stack and in the same direction. I can't say much more than that without any of what the compartment looks like.

All four batteries, brand new. Cannot get the stack direction. I will keep trying. No directions. Should have tossed the magnifying glass but I am such a saver that I would feel guilty. Thanks for the help, you all.

Try searching the brand name of your magnifying glass how to replace batteries to see if anything comes up or post the brand name & I can look.

Only wish I could. No brand name of the magnifying glass. I should have tossed it out and not bought new batteries. No matter what I do it does not work. Oh well I tried.

Post a pic of your magnifying glass. Or do a Google image search of your magnifying glass. Use magnifying glass as your keyword. When you find the pic, post it here.
