Brand name should make one iota of difference.

Having recently purchased my first Win10 computer I was wondering if my older Canon printer would install to it. I was pleased to see that it 'saw' the printer and installed it right away.

Best way to know is to turn the printer on, when you're on the Win10 computer. If the printer is already on your network it should recognize it right away.

It should. We have a mixed bag in our house - Mac and HP.

They all connect up to our Epson wireless printer. I did have install new Epson software on my HP laptop and hubby had to do the same on his Mac.
