Activating A Tracfone

A few months back I activated my Tracfone (HSN) and I did it online. I had a lot of my minutes left to roll over (I hardly use this phone only for emergencies) and they didn't roll over (it was the same phone number as the previous Tracfone). So I ended up having to call anyway and fighting for the minutes that were owed to me (she got her supervisor, I was on the phone for at least an hour, and I was reluctantly given my minutes). So now I have another Tracfone (HSN) to activate using my same phone number but don't want to have to go through this all over again (I still have most of my minutes to roll over). I'm wondering if I should call and activate it that way? Any advice would be appreciated. Also how can I transfer all my phone numbers from my old phone to the new one without having to put each one in individually?

Probably should ask someone at HSN.

Be sure you use the special HSN activation phone number and not the phone number on the red card. I got a phone from HSN a few months ago and had no issues.

Thanks! I did it online last time I'll try the phone this time, it can't be any worse!

Yes, activate by a telephone call and talk to a "live" person. Go over everything before you hangup.

I had 2Tracfones quit working within a very short time of buying them. And, like you, I had LOTS of minutes left. I called CS each time, & politely insisted that I get the minute total added to my newest phone. They asked each time how many minutes I had remaining. Tracfones CS IS painful to speak with, & it does take forever. But getting my minutes back was well worth it. Maintain your ground- you'll get your way.

Can anyone help me? I would like to know how to transfer all my phone numbers from my old phone to my new one. I know there must be an easier way than to put them in manually one by one.

If the instructions in your user manual for either phone is of no help, then contact CR from either phone for "detailed" instructions.
