How to clean screen without damaging . I,m nervous about cleaning and can see dust particles ad smudge xwhen the sun comes in room.

Did it come with instructions? I have HD flatscreen TVs and I use diluted Windex and a microfiber cloth. Very light on the Windex. The microfiber should do the job on dust but smudges may need a bit of cleaning solution of some kind. But very damp, not wet.

I dust it off with a microfiber cloth. I use it wet to remove smudges.

Thanks,. The smudges from using micro cloth. I used just a damp cloth. My last screen was runied by rug installer and I,m very nervous about cleaning or touching this one. The set ran me 3000 a couple of years ago and I love the picture.

Lightly spray with Windex. Gently wipe with soft cloth -- like lint-cloth Or a soft paper towel. Windex is very safe -- around Both electronics AND humans. There have been scientific studies on using Windex and it has been deemed safe -- even around many people with allergies. Hope this works for you. Thanks

4k screens(panels) are not all the same, and neither are 1080p panels. I have a much higher priced 4k panel than the same brand entry level panel. The same is true with most brands and models when it comes to even the 1080p.

I personally make sure my TV is turned off. My next step is to get a clean microfiber cloth and remove the dust and/or smudges on it.

A BIG NO NO! Never put any water or fluid on the panel itself. I personally will never use even a damp microfiber cloth. Water can damage the function of the panel, using something other than a SOFT cloth can scratch any panel.
