<title>topic Are desktop PCs on the way out? in Electronics</title>
    <link>https://community.qvc.com/t5/Electronics/Are-desktop-PCs-on-the-way-out/m-p/245118#M3428</link>
<description>&lt;P&gt;Why do I ask. I have a computer tech person who is always trying to build me a new desktop when even the smallest thing goes wrong. I depend upon him to help me and I will be honest I have been paying him to do so. I admit to being a bit gullable and I thought I was saving money by calling him instead of some big box store "squad." But I am starting to feel like for the price I could buy a new store version of something and still do better if I replaced it every two years. I don't know where to draw the line and what to buy. My needs are photos and photography, email and surfing the web for places like the QVC forum ;-)&lt;/P&gt;</description>
