tracfone sunset question

I can't find a flashlight on the sunset. I ordered an Ultimate 2 last year and it had the flashlight in the app section. Can't find it on this one. I ordered 2 sunsets, one for me and one for my husband. I'm sending mine back. I like the ultimate2 better.

I watched a you tube video on how to get it, but the sunset I have didn't have the same widgets as his.

Also googled it and no help. Anyone here have instructions on how to turn the flashlight on?

Is this the Sunset that was TSV on HSN? I sent mine back because people complained they couldn't get their 1350 free minutes. Did you have a problem getting your minutes?

There are a lot of free flashlight apps on google play.

I have the LG Ultimate 2 and preferred the free android app

'TeslaLED Flashlight' to that came with the phone. You could easily add

tesla app to your sunset phone.

Just go to the Google play store and look for flashlight apps. I had to install one for my Moto G years ago because it didn't come with a preinstalled flashlight app.

I called the Trac Fone number and didn't have any trouble getting my min.that came with the phone.

Also she transfered my phone number and minutes to new phone from my old trac flip phone.

This is my first android trac fone and i love my Sunset phone!

Yes this is the HSN sunset. Had no trouble getting my husband's phone activated online. It was done within 5 minutes. I'm keeping my ultimate 2 which is up in June and sending my sunset back. I just like the ultimate 2 better. Think I will get a new ultimate 2 on amazon for $59.95 with triple minutes instead of getting one year service on my current ultimate in June.

Thank you all for responding. I was just wondering if the sunset had the "app flashlight" installed. I couldn't find it in apps or widgets. My ultimate had the app flashlight already installed. I really do not download too many apps.

So the Tesla LED flashlight is the app to download?

@cowboy sam - Dang - I went by what people were posting on the reviews - they were all upset saying HSN nor Tracfone could resolve the issue. Thanks.

I always read reviews and see how much info you have to share with the app maker before downloading anything. Any app that wants all my info - contacts, location, etc - I don't download.

The TeslaLED had good reviews, shared little or no info and was simple to use. Open app, tap the LED bulb- voila-strong flashlight!

i think the primqry issue is tht people were attempting to activate the phones incorrectly. The cards enclosed with the phones were clear on the activation, but people were going to the wrong websites and trying to get PINs to activate the bonus minutes -- things which the blue card said were not needed.

It took about five minutes to activate mine onnline and about llular 90 minutes for my number to port over from my old phone to the new one. After turning off my phone and turning it back on, my 1350 minutes were added to the ones which carried over from my old phone.

Also, I have come to the conclusion that many people -- particularly new Tracfone users -- mistakenly think this is a full service cecompany. It is not. Just as one cannot get Tiffany quality or service at Dollar Tree prices, people will not get Verizon servuce from Tracfone. Peopleneed to be a bit more self-sufficient with Tracfone.

@cowboy sam Did you old minutes also transfer over to text and data or only to talk?
