      <description>&lt;P&gt;Things I do. &amp;nbsp;Shut down and then reopen. &amp;nbsp;Okay that does not work. &amp;nbsp;Next pull the battery and then put &amp;nbsp;it back in. &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Next since all that failed.... call Amazon. &amp;nbsp;They have an amazing customer service and technical department. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

My Kindle melted during charging (right where you plug it in) and I like it so much, I wanted the same unit so I didn't care it wasn't current.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If your Paperwhite is the previous generation (they are up to what, six generations of Kindles, now?) you can replace it with &lt;A href="http://amzn.to/1TxWSZq" target="_self"&gt;the previous generation Paperwhite &lt;/A&gt;for a lot less than the current price of 119 to 139. The older ones are under sixty bucks.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I can't do without mine. It goes everywhere with me.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
