Part of the problem is that I need a faster connection, but unless all of a sudden I come into some money, I'll just have to put up with what I have. However, I know I could improve the speed if I got some of the temp items cleared out.</P> <P>I always clear the cache, as well as going to <SPAN style="text-decoration: underline;">%temp%</SPAN> and clearing that out. Also, I'm sure someone will suggest defragging, but neither of my computers need that done. What I do need to do is to clear out the <SPAN style="text-decoration: underline;">prefetch</SPAN> and the <SPAN style="text-decoration: underline;">temp</SPAN> folders, but I'm not sure exactly what's safe to clear out in either one of those. (Forgive me if I'm calling these folders by the wrong names, particularly the %temp% and the temp folders. I used to think these two were one and the same, but apparently not, at least according to a tech that once cleared them out.)</P> <P>Could any of you brilliant tech-savvy people out there please help me figure out what is safe to remove and what is not?
