      <title>Norton Question</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="comic sans ms,sans-serif" size="4"&gt;I have come to this forum several times and always get great responses.&amp;nbsp; Once again I have a question about Norton Antivirus.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="comic sans ms,sans-serif" size="4"&gt;I have been having trouble with IE 11.&amp;nbsp; It&amp;nbsp;hesitates when browsing on the Internet and sometimes freezes the page that I am on.&amp;nbsp; The page will load right up but then the browser does not work.&amp;nbsp; The other day I was browsing on QVC and a message came up about speeding up browsing by disabling ad on so I&amp;nbsp;clicked on yes.&amp;nbsp; Bingo.......my browser was working as it should be.&amp;nbsp; All was good.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;I then decided to go into Norton Antivirus and noticed that there was a notice to configure Norton toolbar.&amp;nbsp; I clicked on it and I then noticed that Norton Toolbar was disabled and so was Norton Identity Safe Protection was also disabled.&amp;nbsp; I enabled the both of them and my IE is terrible again.&amp;nbsp; My question is do I have to have the both of them enabled or can I do without them.&amp;nbsp; From what I have been reading they are both important so&amp;nbsp;I do not know what to do.&amp;nbsp; Is anyone else having this problem?&amp;nbsp; I tried contacting Norton and got&amp;nbsp;someone that I could not understand but do know that they wanted to make a lot of changes on my PC so I disconnected them.&amp;nbsp; Once before I contacted them and they messed up my PC and had to take it out to be fixed.&amp;nbsp; Any help would be greatly appreciated.&amp;nbsp; TIA&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="comic sans ms,sans-serif" size="4"&gt;Edited to say that it is worse using Firefox.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;I just bought a computer that had the free trial Norton.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; I had to take the Norton off&amp;nbsp; because it was interfering with &lt;U&gt;&lt;EM&gt;everything&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/U&gt;.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; I use the &amp;nbsp;McAfee that is complimentary from my cable provider with no challenges.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;Once in a while I have where the browser is unresponsive/freezes but I think it's just an incompatibility issue. Usually when that happens I just exit out and open it again. That only happened a few times when I was searching/browsing on a few tech sites. I've tried Firefox a few times but I really don't care for it. It just didn't seem to work well with that browser.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Have you tried using it with Chrome as your browser yet. I would try doing that, and see how that goes.
