Cannot find the Edit button on my IPhone 6 since update!

Ever since updating to IOS 9 and also downloading the fix both my husband and I often do not have the Edit button in Recents (phone calls) in order to delete them. Sometimes it is there and sometimes it is not. Anyone else having the same problem? Had no problem with this until the update. TIA

When you go in Recents, swipe left for each call. It will let you delete it or you can press Edit at the top right. Hope that helps.

Thank you rustie. This will work for me but DH has about 50 per day due to business and he would like to clear or delete all at one time. Sometimes the Edit button appears like it use to in the upper right hand corner and that is where we could delete or clear all from there. Like I said sometimes it appears and sometimes it does not.

I phoned Apple and they told me they have not had any other complaints. The last time something happened I phoned them and was told the same thing and then 2 months later there was a fix for it. Thanks again rustie.

@luvsbulldogs, Have you done a hard reset of the phone since installing the updated iOS?

(How to do "hard reset": Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button for about eight seconds. This will force the iPhone to turn off.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button to turn the iPhone back on. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few moments. The iPhone will turn back on and display the Apple logo.)

Also, are there certain types of calls you can remove as opposed to those you can't? Anything about their entries in your Contacts, for example? Do you see anything the have in common that might be a clue about the reason for the difference?

I agree, you should see the "Edit" at the top and then be able to use the "minus" to choose multiple entries and remove all of them at once. But I seem to remember a glitch maybe a year or two ago with this... if I find anything I'll post it here.

Hi dooBdoo.......I did the hard reset and it is still the same. I am hoping that they come up with a fix but in the meantime I will use the Edit button when it appears. If you find anything please post here. Thanks dooBdoo for all your help.

Hi, again, @luvsbulldogs! I did some reading on the Apple Community forums and found not only that this glitch popped up in older iOS releases (it seemed to help to close the Phone app in the background and then reopen it), but also there are some new reports for the current iOS.

I'll post 2 links to new discussions for you, but in general it looks like there are 2 temporary "fixes" of sorts:

1 -- Toggle between "Missed" and "All" and the Edit button reappears

2 -- Swipe and remove the first call and then the Edit button will reappear

Also, note that one of the discussions has instructions to report a bug, if you'd like to do that:
