Adobe Action Script Error

I keep getting error messages about Adobe Flash Player- says "Action Script Error- there are usually one of 3---- error 2060 1009 and 2044 Looked up Microsoft support- tried their fix-didn't work. Any ideas?

I had this very problem with Windows 8.1 and IE11. It can not be fixed. Adobe and Microsoft will probably do this soon. This Flash Player is a debug version.

You can uninstall this Window Update and Windows will go back to the July AFP.

Chrome and Firefox updates are not a problem. I just stopped using IE 11. I am using Firefox as my default browser.

My DH just fixed mine (error code 1009 is the only one I had) by un-installing update

After you un-install it, it will keep showing up as an update you need to do, but just ignore it if it has the above #. I put a sticky note on my laptop to remember it.

I though that Adobe just issued a security patch.

They did, but it doesn't work well with Windows 8 or 8.1. It constantly gives error messages.

Each time you use your computer Windows will look to fix this update you uninstalled. If this update is installed and uninstalled it could damage windows registry. I found a better solution stop using IE 11.

I set my updates to notify me, so none are automatically installed.

It just shows a message in my action center that I need to install that, which I ignore. It's not a pop-up or anything annoying.

Presumably they'll do a fix for Window 8/8.1 users.

BTW, I didn't figure this out, DH is a certified computer tech, thank goodness! Just wanna give credit where credit is due, LOL!

Thanks- will try that- don't know why it's "all of a sudden" but it's quite annoying wondering what to do to get rid of it.

Yeah,I've had issues with IE11 as well- I would go back to a previous version (been using IE for many many years so h-ard to change my ways--(since my first giant desktop!) ----anyhow It won't allow previous versions and worry about security issues if I do although I do have a good security program in place and check often.( running 8.1) Can download windows 10 but frankly I'm not one to be a guinea pig- and the "rules" say you can't go back--that's a deal breaker---I originally read it was a side by side so you would be able to - the other problem is some programs will be deleted and have to be re-installed - I actually like Windows Live Photo- that will be one that's deleted according to what I've read- so who knows if the ones deleted will work with the new version? I'll wait it out thanyou very much and If it aint broke don't fix it!!

The uninstall of the problem Window update will set the Adobe Flash player back to a July 2015 version.

I am using Mozilla Firefox. It is a nice program, https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/

You can also install Google Chrome. It updates flash player automatically.

I was told told that if used adobe flash on google that it would clash with googles own flash??Is that true?

My question..do we really need Adobe flash on my HP windows 7 premiun computer???

You need Adobe Flash to see any video content on your computer.

The Adobe Flash problem was fixed by a Window Update for Window 8.1 a few days ago.
