How to Insert Animated Emojis etc in Post

i have an app called Animations. Can't figure out how to insert an animation in a post. I am on an iPad. Can someone tell me how to do it?

I don't have an Ipad but I know how to put an emoji on your post. Put the cursor on the emoji, right click on copy, go to your post and right click to paste.

Yes, works for regular computers. Don't think it can be done with an iPad, though.

Maybe it is one of those things that they are working on. While I am asking questions what is the smiley face with a hole in its head on the toolbar?

@Shawnie I think the smiley face with a hole is the place where you enter spoiler info. It covers up the text until it's clicked on. Instead of a hole, I think it's supposed to be a smiley with a white gloved hand over its eye.

testing---I typed this in the grey box that popped up after I tapped on the smiley with the hole.

COPY/PASTE FOR iPad:

On an iPad, you MUST use thevSAFARI browser.

you can get/save animations using the app GIF

i believe I have copied pasted directly this way.

Disclaimer: I need to test this way further. I can copy/paste from the app, but I am seeing no animation. I believe the image I grabbed and copy/pasted then showed visible animation when viewing it on a OPPC.

all I can say is APPLE better get with the program

I'm pretty sure this is a Q problem

not an Apple problem. I think the blame

is QVC's @LTT1.

This board still isn't working very well

for us with iPad.

YES!

with an iPad, open picture icon

choose "my uploaded images" *

it works

*first, make sure you add the animated gif to your Q board library -- the uploaded images (so not from your computer). This will give you images to choose from

On their announcement thread about the new

functionality of iPads here on the Q boards they

said they know there still are bugs and they're

working on them and they asked us to report

problems on that thread so they'll know

@LTT1.
