Animated Smily Faces

Everyone uses these cute animated smiley faces but when I try to insert one it is not animated. There is a web page with a lot of cute smiley faces so if I copy from the web page and then insert into my email or document it is not animated.

I tried to save it as a picture but then you have to insert it in the document as a jpeg and does not show up in the original document. Does anyone know how to do this? (I hope I explained this right.)

Instead of copying and pasting, you need to save the file to your own computer and make sure you save it as a .GIF file and not a .JPG file. The .gif format allows for the animation and a .jpg file is a static image. Save the file to your computer and then upload it to the forums and it should animate correctly.

I am trying this too... once you place a "gif" in a post, it will appear in your "saved images" in the forum... then they will always be there for you to use.

*so far tested using laptop PC

Just a word to the wise - Be sure to know what stuff you are loading onto your computer and accessing with your computer.

There are a lot of emoticons, and animated GIF emoticons, out there that carry spyware and even, in some cases, malware.

I tend to play by the 100% rule, like picking up hitchhikers - don't do it at all and you GREATLY increase your chances of staying safe.
