Anyone Buying From Amazon Today

Today Amazon is celebrating their 20th anniversary, giving deals to their Prime members. I looked and didn't see anything I wanted. I was hoping to get a Breville Smart Oven at a bit of a discount.

I looked and didn't find anything either. I was looking at TVs under 32 inches, electric grills, and outdoor line trimmers. Thre was nothing that had such an awesome price that I couldn't pass up.

I found a HP printer for a good price. The money was right and it uses 2 ink cartridges.

I was surprised the deals were not better.

I was considering a new Kindle, but the Paperwhite is not on sale. I have a FitBit Charge HR in my cart, but there's no sale price, it comes with a $25 Amazon credit, instead. I think I'll probably pass. The regular Kindle is marked down significantly and if I had NO Kindle, I'd be happy to pick that up. But it would be a a backslide from my current Paperwhite.

I wasn't really impressed with any of the deals because they weren't on things I wanted. I do have a Fitbit Charge HR in my cart, but it's not on sale, it comes with a $25 credit, instead. I can't decide.

I was SOOOO disappointed! I wanted a new paperwhite at a good price, or a Voyage! DRAT! I MAY sign up for othe Kindle unlimited for 2 years--comes to about $6 a month. Might be worth it for references, cookbooks, and books you don't know if you really want to read or not--and lots of classics I have on my list to read again.

I got the Kindle Fire HD 7 with 16 GB of memory for $99. That's a savings of $60, but they often have them at a similar price, so it wasn't an exceptional deal. Now I've got to wait until August 6th-7th for it to get here, but that's only three weeks. Hopefully it'll come a bit earlier.

I couldn't find anything I wanted or needed. On the other hand I've bought plenty of other things from Amazon recently.

I put an item in my cart. That's as far as I got. Price was good, but I did not need it.
