    <description>I just looked a my new kindle fire and it's not the same as my older model. I don't want to give you the wrong info. You would be better off going to amazon with your issue. The have a kindle forum where technical people answer the questions. Or if you click on help in the top of the screen, you will get the option to talk with someone. They ask for your phone number and call you back. I went the forum route once and had an answer pretty quick.</description>

      <description>All I can think of is deleting your internet connection and adding it back. I have AT&amp;amp;T uverse and have had to do that.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;You can do like I did, erase everything personal and send it back to QVC.  They were johnny on the spot to give me a refund.  Kindle was just a big mess for me, but QVC was top notch.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Computers, cell phones, video game consoles, e-readers, televisions and some blu-ray players now even include full Internet browsers. It's not hard to get on the Internet these days.&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;Back to the original problem, I'd first recommend completely shutting down the tablet and then rebooting it and trying again. That might be all it takes to solve the issue. This sounds more like a software issue than anything to me and buggy software gets fixed by rebooting. If that doesn't work then double check to be sure you're following the correct procedure. Once you've entered the password be sure you hit the "enter" key on the pop-up keyboard so that the keyboard goes away. The tablet may be waiting for you to do that before it enables the "connect" button. Also check to be sure you're entering the password correctly. If none of that works, then call Amazon and they'll help you out.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

But now that I think about it, I think OP thinks that she needs to be using the kindle to locate Amazon contact info or contact them. Since no internet, obviously not using, and thus unable to locate info or comtact them. I guess? Just trying to make sense out of it.</description>
