https://community.qvc.com/t5/Electronics/any-TV-electronics-experts-here-having-an-odd-problem-with-our/m-p/170096#M2550 <P>I know, I know. this is not a TV repair website. but before I call all over town trying to find out where I can haul my big, LCD TV I thought I would ask for some pre-TV shop information on what we may be dealing with.</P> <P>we have a 4 or 5 year old Toshiba LCD tv. it has started doing something strange when we first turn it on: on the right edge of the screen a 5 inch strip of multicolored vertical lines appear. the multicolored strip lasts about five minutes, then disappears. the tv seems perfectly fine , the color and clarity of the picture is great.
