CD/DVD storage cases

Currently, I have all my software discs and DVDs that I've recorded movies and shows on stored in individual jewel cases. I've been thinking about transferring all of them to one of those CD/DVD storage cases that zip up (more convenient) but am wondering if, over time, the discs can get scratched from pulling them in and out of the plastic sleeves. For those of you who have these, is this a possibility? Thanks.

No more than popping them in and out of jewel cases . Either depend on being kept as dust and debris free as possible, that's the trick. I prefer the large case that use the half open pocket as opposed to the full sleeve. It's harder online, but if you go into the store you can find nice ones with a felt like liner in the pocket.
