I have been watching a show on Prime and have already watched 7 episodes, but now when I try to watch, I get a screen that says Silverlight needs your permission to run. I looked for answers on the Microsoft community without success and tried letting them fix it, to no avail. First, I have no idea how to give Silverlight my permission since there is nothing to click on. Second, I thought someone on this forum might be able to tell me what I should do since I have had great success here in the past. Any suggestions would be welcome. TIA

Can you just watch through your tv? I use Amazon Prime and Netflix, and I watch on my tv. But then I don't really like watching tv/movies on a very small screen like a computer or a phone. I guess people do, these days, but I'm a dinosaur.

There are so many ways, including having a Blu-ray player or a Roku, or similar type unit, or a smart tv if you want to spend the money on that. I'm not big on combining too many things in one unit, as there's just too much to go wrong. But I have some Roku3 units and they are excellent. I also have Tivos and you can watch through that but, as much as I love my Tivos, it's just not as good for streaming as the Roku3.

That silverlight thing is a plug in that sometimes gets installed on computers when trying to watch things from sites like Amazon Videos, Netflix, and other sites like that. Its something that helps the computer to run video. It's okay to use that. Not all computers require that, but I don't know enough to be able to explain why that is. Apparently your computer needs it, and its okay, nothing to be scared of telling it its okay to run.

I love looking at my 8.9 screen at night in bed watching old or new movies and TV shows through Prime. I have a 55 4K newest TV and like the intimate smaller screen on my chest better or a pillow.
