I bought an hp notebook with the Christmas money from my children. I don't understand how to use it! I have to return it to the store by Thursday. Can someone please tell me how to delete the things my grandaughter put in, along with my trying to use it. It is windows 8.

In your browser (probably Internet Explorer), type in "how to reset windows 8.1 back to factory settings". Results will be returned with several solutions. I would recommend one from youtube so you can follow along step-by-step. Good luck.

Hp will also help you. There's an hp icon on bottom of screen. You can ask them, if you run into trouble.

If you are returning it because you don't understand it....erasing the hard drive,,or doing things to insure your things are removed is going to be too compicated for you. Is there anyone you know that can do this for you on your computer?
