I was just wondering if on a daily basis of going from place to place how safe our cell phones are from hacking. I have an Android phone. I email, text, call, etc. I do not conduct business. (retired gal)

I see lots of TV programs where people can somehow swipe info as they walk by, or how they can zero in on the cell phone itself. I don't know what to believe.
