    <description>&lt;P&gt;I would never buy electronics from Q. Their prices are often higher than elsewhere and their models are often not the most current.&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;I have purchased directly from Dell and have always received great customer service. If I were to purchase another Dell, I wouldn't get it anywhere else. They offer periodic discount codes and lots of promotions.&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;Earlier this year, I needed a new laptop and went with a Mac.  I love it!&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;We have some Dell Laptops and I do not have any complaints or issues. Both were bought through Dell.&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;I have NEVER called a computer manuf. for 'support help' so I can not comment on this.  We have a local 'computer guy' for sets up our laptops and provides help and support.  I do not even unpack the laptops when they arrive, I just drop it off at Computer Guy's for set up.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 10.0pt;"&gt;We brought a Dell desktop computer several years ago when they were first hitting the market and used Dell's finance plan for purchase. We had a problem. We did not know when we needed assistance that we would reach a representative in another country who was almost impossible to understand. He basically told me that he would not speak with me and to put my husband on the telephone. My husband told him that I was just as capable of handling matters of our household.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 10.0pt;"&gt;We were advised to return the monitor when we received the replacement one and to use those packing materials and box to return it, which we did. Several months later, we noticed a negative comment on our credit report. Dell was the reporter, as they had never received the monitor. It was something about a $30 charge (shipping).  We had the shipping receipt ticket, so I called them and again reached a representative in a different country and went through the same attitude toward a female handling the situation.  We were so incensed to think they would put something on our credit report for a $30 problem, of which we had never been notified about.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 10pt;"&gt;Needless to say, we have not bought a Dell computer since and never will. IBM, HP, Toshiba, but never Dell again.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I'm not sure if that's still available.  If it is, it might be worth the extra charge.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

The "voice" was in the Philipines, but was easier to understand than many locals I've encountered.  Also, once a part had been shipped, there was a follow-up call from them to make certain I had been able to install the part as I'd been directed.&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;That Dell laptop was my only computer for over 6 years and that episode was my only issue with it.  Last I heard, that machine was still in use.  It didn't die; I passed it on to take advantage of something newer.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I've had Dell computers for several years. I've never purchased one from QVC; I go directly to the Dell website and build it there. It seems to me that the models that the Q sells are always loaded with a lot of things that I don't really want or need.  Ordering directly from Dell lets me order just what I need and want to pay for. &lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;They've worked fine for the most part. My previous computer developed some problems near the end of it's life and I took it to a local computer repair shop so I can't comment on Dell's customer service.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I had a Dell desktop and my first laptop was a Dell.  The laptop is fine, still, after some 8 years except that it's outdated for current technology so I don't use it.  When I had problems with the desktop, quite a number of years ago, I called them for assistance (which is something I seldom do!) and they skrewed me out of $50 by lying to me, so Dell and I got a divorce at that time.&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;Now I have Toshiba, Sony, and Lenovo and like all of them.  I've purchased several Toshibas both for my husband and for me, and they have been well-made machines. &lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;I'm not big on calling customer service because I already know what that's like.  If I cannot figure something out myself, or find the information online, I'm usually out.  All you usually get by calling is the level one type 'tech' person and that is just not at all helpful. &lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have had four Dell computers. All but one have been flawless. Back during the summer I purchased a new Dell with Windows 8.1. It's been perfect with no trouble.&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;My DH took my old Vista computer to replace his old Win XP computer. I did have an issue with the hard drive malfunctioning in the Vista computer. It was just two weeks shy of the support expiring (I always do a 4-year support), so I called CS. They immediately sent a tech to the house (within two days). Needed a new hard drive, they sent the drive out, the tech came back, installed the drive, and it's been running ever since. (I would have just installed the drive myself, but it was still under warranty.)&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;Just bought a new 17-inch Dell XPS laptop; it was my Christmas present to me from me. It's my first laptop, so I know it's going to take some getting used to, but I know it will be fine. I bought it from Dell. We bought a Dell laptop for our grandchildren and they've not had any trouble with it.&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;I can't say anything bad about Dell.&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;My GF has a Toshiba laptop. Not even a year old yet and it's been back in the shop three times, all for problems she did not create. She's ready to throw it out the closest window, she gets so exasperated with it. My DH's union local also has a Toshiba and it's given them nothing but headaches.&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;I would never buy any kind of computer from QVC because it's always loaded with stuff most people would likely never use. I've seen some of their TSVs for various computers and, honestly, why bother buying a computer that's so loaded down with stuff like that? They brag, "Oh, it has this and it has that!"
