I love my iPhone 5, but went to my Verizon store today and ordered a 6!!

I can't believe it........ordered at 10:00 this morning and it has already shipped by Fed Ex and will be here Tues! Of course, the store doesn't have any in stock, thus the order, but it's going to be delivered to me here.....not sure why it's not going to the store and then they notify me so they can transfer my contacts, etc. from my 5.....guess I'll just take it in when it gets here. I was told that I should get $200 for my 5, so it will only cost me a little less tan $50 to upgrade.....not too bad! I enjoy being able to access internet on my phone along with all the other things I can do with it, so hopefully, I'm going to love it as much as my 5. Anyone else have their 6??

I have a 6 Plus that took a month to ship directly to me, but I absolutely love it! It's residing in a nice leather magnetic case (from Amazon) that protects it all the way around - front and back.

Step-by-step instructions came with it on how to transfer contacts, pics, itunes, etc. It was a breeze and nothing was lost.

I have a 5 now, contract up in december. I was in Apple Store a few weeks ago and saw the 6. & 6 plus for the first time. The 6 is not much bigger than the 5, per dimensions. But I liad my 5 over the 6, and for some reason, the screen on the 6 is so much easier to read from amd see. Also the 6 is so light. I had hearts in my eyes, lol, I wanted the 6....but really have no need for it. The 5 works perfectly well. Enjoy your new toy!

Glad to hear the positive comments.......I usually won't trade when Apple does what I call their mini-upgrade like 4S, 5S, etc., but when there is a major upgrade, I'm hooked!!

Feeling VERY jealous. I WILL have a 6+, but DH is S-L-O-W-L-Y deciding whether he wants my 5 or not. I'm losing patience! Congrats to all of you new owners and updaters!

I upgraded from a 4s 64GB to a 6+ 128GB and I think it's wonderful.

There have been a few times that I've cursed it's non-pocketability but I'd still choose it again over anything else.

Really! Does that include all those little extra fees, I can't remember the exact one's I'm referring to....it's been almost 3 years since I've had a contract.

I have the 6 plus and just ordered a cute mint & pink case from Amazon, as my case is ugly. The only one they had at the time at ATT . I am with sprint but they did not have any cases for it.

I have absolutly no interest in an Appe Watch, Ms iMac. I can't figure out how it would benefit me to have that? It basically has everything that my phone has, and actually the phone has more. I always have my phone with me. Why do I need that on my wrist? And...I can barely see the screen with an iPhone 5....can't imagine trying to do anything with that little watch screen. Nope, not for me!

Just got my 6 plus that arrived Monday. My carrier is Verizon and it took longer than they initially said. I had a 4s and you could make 2 calls or texts and the battery was gone. I had it a long time and it was time to upgrade. Just make sure when you send in your old phone that it is within 5 days of receiving your new phone in order to get your rewards card. When I took the cover off mine to send it was in great condition, just needed to clean up around the buttons. Love the 6 plus. Am thrilled that my photos are clearer and so much larger. I hope you will enjoy your new phone.

I'm not sure about the Apple watch. I really want to love it and upgrade from my Fitbit ... but it's soooo ugly.

I'm all for simplicity or retro and geekery but this design isn't any of those. It looks like something from Walmart.

I just don't know. Maybe I'll wait for version 2.

Video eats up the most space for me.

I was always fighting to stay under 64GB so this extra capacity is perfect for me.

I love Apple products and have a 5, and would love a 6 but I have the macro lenses that you can buy to attach to the top of the phone to take macro shots (I sell on eBay and need these lenses) don't know if they'll fit on the 6... I'll have to check around. They were expensive little things to re-buy just to upgrade... and I use them like crazy, they're excellent.

But love the Apple, started awhile ago, keep upgrading, even have the "new" iPad 32gb ... just love the Ebay app...

But I have to say, ever since I downloaded 8.0 my phone has been awful... I have to turn it on and off about 3 times a day. I've downloaded all the fixes but it still isn't as good as it was prior... but we'll get there.

BTW, here's a little trick if your battery seems to need recharging a lot. First off, every time you open an app, the app stays open and runs ALL THE TIME. This enables you to go into the app instantly every time you want to use it. These running apps run down your battery in no time.

You can shut them down (this does NOT get rid of your app!! It only stops the processor from continually running it!! Your app will be fine when you want to open it!!)

To shut them down so they are not continually running, you click on your button to open your phone. Slide he bar across to open your app page, THEN double click on the button (to open your phone), you will see your app page (do NOT toss this one!), go to the next one and slide your finger upward and it will "toss" the app". Keep sliding the apps to you and toss them all.

I just did it and tossed 11 apps off from continually running.

I do it every evening because there are three I look at off an on all day and would like the convenience of having the app load instantly. Again, all this does is clear these apps from running continuously and running your battery down so fast.

It makes a HUGE improvement in battery life!!! Good luck...
