has anyone ever buy a tv from qvc if so did you receive it in good condition

i would like to buy a new flat screen tv from qvc only because you can get it on easy pay whats everybodys opinion this please.

we've ordered several flat screens for our rental homes. qvc was the only place who carried white ones in the sizes we wanted. always delivered intact and perfect!

I bought a Tv from QVC. It was packaged so not to arrive broken. It is still working but my brother took it to Kentucky where he is working for a year.

I cannot speak highly enough regarding the TVs we have purchased from the Q. To date, we have purchased 5 TVs; Samsung Smart TV's. We were victims of a home invasion a year or so ago. Luckily our insurance enabled us to get new ones, hence the reason we have purchased so many lately. Deliveries were spot-on, setup a breeze & total peace-of-mind of the Q's return policy. HTH!!

We ordered a Sony Bravia flat screen a few years back from the southern channel and it arrived safe and sound. It was incredibly safely packed. No problems whatsoever.

another question for tvs would be better a smart tv or triple xd engine tv i guess that means even clear then hd almost like you can reach and touch whats on tv.

My opinion? Save your money until you have enough to buy it and forget about easy pays. Why pay hundreds, if not more $$$ for the privilege of getting monthly payments? If you knew you wanted or needed a flat screen(not sure what you mean by this)it is always better to save until you have enough to pay the full amount from a good online retailer.

No way I would ever buy any electronic product from any shopping network, TV or otherwise. Right now I am in the market for 4K LED and as soon as I make enough from the profit from my adult hockey league I will buy it. Might be months before I get it, but I will not buy it until I have the money in my pocket or band account.

How can anyone, from their crummy tv, determine the quality of a new tv, if the new tv's quality is viewed on the crummy tv?

I agree with this. I haven't bought a TV from any shopping channel but when my daughter was looking to buy a MacBook (Apple had a TSV) she compared prices by googling and the TSV was so overpriced I could not believe it. She could have gotten it $500 cheaper from about every site she visited.

I would most definitely google whatever you plan on buying at the Q (the exact model and others like it) to see if you cannot get a better deal.

I bought one from the other channel. Came right to my doorstep, double-boxed, and in perfect condition. It was a free shipping item. All I had to do was remove the packaging, and plug the thing in!!!! I have a small car, and there is no way I could even get something that big home from a store by myself.

The TVs are high on the Q. Many are older models. I suggest you purchase one at fair price elsewhere. You could pay interest on a credit card for what you pay for shipping, and the use of easy pay at the Q.

I bought my flat screen from Walmart online on Black Friday last year and it came in the box that they use to stack it on the store shelf. No outer box. It arrived fine, no issues even without it being double boxes.

I was not amused that the whole world saw the tv box on my front steps. It was ripe for the taking.

Not everyone has a credit card, so Easy Pay is often a more viable option if you don't want to wait the equivalent six months to save up enough money to get an item that you may need right now.

Like everything sold on QVC, you need to research the product so you know how current it is, whether or not it'll meet your needs, and if the total price is competitive to other retail sources.

I don't mean to insult anyone, but we've all heard the call-in conversations and you can tell that a lot of those callers are elderly and are just taking their first baby steps into the world of modern electronics. (And I give them a round of applause for doing so.) Those aren't folks who are going to go out to the various brick-and-mortar stores to do price comparisons; in fact, if they do, they'll probably be oversold on products that they don't need just because they don't know the right questions to ask. So the convenience, hand-holding and security factor of QVC is probably of more importance to them than the latest model or a slightly higher price. And QVC does have some very good prices on their TSV. That Kindle Fire HDX 64GB with the Belkin Chambray cover and the AmazonBasics stylus that recently was the TSV is going for almost $314 in total on Amazon (not including shipping & tax); QVC offered it all for $229.95.

I ordered two TV's from ShopHQ and one from HSN. All had free shipping, no sales tax(huge) and lots of easy pay. Much better deal than QVC.

I have never seen QVC sell ""the latest"" technology in anything electronic. Their prices may at times be ""fair"" as opposed to ""good"" or ridiculous.
