Glad you're enjoying your new Paperwhite. I have a 4 year old Kindle and I'm looking at the Fire HD. They have a new one coming out only 6 inches and only $99. I'm tempted.

I had an appointment yesterday and a woman was there reading on a very small kindle which must have been the 6 incher. I asked her how she liked it and she stated it was too small, she purchased a very thick case for it to add for a better grip. I have to say myself that I thought it was too small as well.

I have the old white 2nd generation keyboard and love the fact I don't have to move my hand to swipe the page, just put the thumb on the button and push. I wish they'd come out with another with the button

I'm not finding turning pages an issue. I have mine in a fairly large but light weight Vera Bradley cover, so I'm holding that not the reader itself. I do have the 6" one in a very small cover (sometimes I even take it out) to carry with me in my purse, and I find the buttons annoying when I use it. I have had it a long time.

I switched from reading on my old version Kindle keyboard to a Paperwhite too and love it. I've also got a Kindle Fire that I use as a portable tablet but that I can use to read books on as well. I enjoy the Fire a lot, but if I'm going to be outside reading, you can bet I'll be using the Paperwhite. Inside, the images on the Fire are beautiful and crystal clear. Outside in the sun I can barely see them even with adjusting the contrast. The Paperwhite screen is easy to see inside or outside. With all the electronics today that have the hard to read when in bright light screens, I'm sure glad Kindle has kept making one with a screen that's not obliterated by glare!

Help! Do I need to buy a kindle charger? OR can I use the Nook charger to recharge the paper white?? The cords are the same but the chargers were included with my Kobo and Nook. This is my first Amazon. Wowee, I can put it in landscape. Could you do that with old kindles?

I saved the charger from my broken Kindle Keyboard and it is fine to use with the Paperwhite. My BIL who is a genius in electronics showed me I could even use my phone charger.

I would suggest you cut and paste your Nook charger question as a new discussion so it will get attention with Nook users who can help you! Good luck.
