I bought this dvd player and it will not play a DVD from Europe. What do they mean by Universal? Does anyone know what to buy that will play DVDs from other countries?

Universal means that is plays more than dvds also to plays CDs and multichannel SACD and DVD-Audio music discs.

It needs to play multi-regions. Also PAL format.

You maybe able to play this DVD on a computer. You can only change the setting in the software X amount of times.
