Hi,

I did a dumb, dumb, dumb, thing.

I was searching something to help my pain and I came across a very innocent sight called healthboards com

It would not let me get into the website and it had a yellow " ! " in the left corner. It said that I wasn't registered yet, and to register for that health board just click on it.That would have always raised a red flag to me, and I would NEVER have clicked on it before...... BUT..... I am in so much chronic pain, and I am looking for a solution that I stupidly did click in that top bar with the "!" in it.

All of a sudden , after that websight came up, the computer started freaking out and acting wierd. I was not even able to get on my other desktop shortcuts.

I immediately did a norton scan... and it detected and resolved almost 40 risks.

I was then able to go to my other websites from my desktop, but after wards,

when I took another full system scan , it detected several risks too.

Up until today before I did that, I always just had 0-3 risks for years.

I took a couple of full system scans after going on different sites that I normally go on, and now, each time it has 25 or more risks depending on how long I stay on and how many sites I visit.

Can anyone please help me with this? I don't know what to do except take scans .

Am I going to have to take a scan EACH time I go on the computer? Is there any other way to rid of this problem, once you have it?

Many thanks in advance for your help..... maxicue
