Should we be impressed with Nick Cannon's Ncredible tablet?

Featured Price: $199.95

I was surprised to see him on QVC considering his wife (Mariah Carey) was on HSN. I love having extra tablets for my classroom, but for the price, I'm thinking about sticking with iPad mini and Google Nexus. I'd never heard of the Ncredible tablet until this past weekend. What do you think?

I would buy an iPad mini for classroom use not a tablet sold by Nick Cannon. I have a Nexus 7, a Samsung Galaxy PRO 8.4, and an iPad 4. You will be most happy with a mini.

Here's the info on the tablet:

It's the "Ncredible NV8" made by Digitac, a company with an "F" rating (on a scale from "A" to "F") by the Better Business Bureau. The tablet as listed only has a limited 90-day warranty.

I really do like Nick Cannon, but this product probably deserves careful research before purchase.

Thank you for your comments. I'm sorry I missed the other thread about it. I had never heard of this one. Seems like there are so many new tablets popping up on the market these days. The next time I see one I will check out the BBB reviews. In the meantime, I'll stick with what's been working for me.

I guess not. I just saw the latest Surface Tab. at the Microsoft Store & it's a win win. I was not really interested before today because of Win. 8, just happened to mozzie into the store. Sweet. Gorgeous picture. Smooth performance. Can't wait to have it in my hot little hands. Clever keyboard cover. The expert did not even get to say anything about it. Tab. sold itself!

If that should happen, Microsoft would stand behind it. Nobody even answered the phone at the other places Q found to make cheap tablets. Haier if a refrigeration company!

She'll say the s&h charges are too high and it took 4 whole days for it to be delivered. And HSN would have delivered it in 3 hours with a plate of warm cookies and a love note....lol

I'm sure this is a dumb question, but I'll ask anyway. Is there an app store to get free apps like Playstore that you can use with the Surface Tab?

I use a lot of apps and wouldn't want it if you can't get a lot of the apps such as Candy Crush, Kindle reader, etc.

You can actually Google " Windows apps" and find all kinds of information... if you're looking for specific apps include it in your search

Did he claim to be an electronics expert? Not everyone who sells/promotes a product claims to be an expert in the field. Think Larry the Cable Guy, who does commercials for a heartburn drug. He is not a doctor and doesn't claim to be one! Nick may just be someone who believes (or for a price, claims to believe) in the benefits of the product. There is nothing wrong with that. He is doing a job, and it is our job as consumers to be skeptical and research the product before buying.

Based on the information posted about the Better Business Bureau rating of this tablet manufacturer, I don't think I would buy the product, but I want to be fair to Nick.
