Help! E Mail won't stop sending

Just wondering if anyone out there knows the answer to this question.. I recently emailed a video and it told me that it was to large to send, so I went back (twice) and re-sized it. Every time I hit sync it starts to send, so I go and hit stop. If I don't it will send all day. I can not delete it, the delete is not highlighted. It was downloaded from a Kodak Z18 into my HP laptop.

Where it says sent items it shows (1) I have tried to right click, but nothing happens. It is there when I lift the cover and it starts to send, is there something I can do to get this rid of this?

I have shut it down hoping this would help, but it is there and nothing I have done so far has done the trick. I have googled this problem and no one seems to have the answer either. It just won't go away!!
