Hi....we are considering buying a Samsung Google Chromebook. Does anyone out there have a Chromebook? How do you like it? I know it uses Google Docs instead of Microsoft Word. How do you like that? Do I have to be in a space with WiFi in order for it to work?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I would recommend starting a Google Drive account and using Google Docs before you decide. It's free, so you can play with the tools and see how you feel about them. That's far more valuable than knowing how we feel about them.

Google Chromebook offline and you'll get all kinds of information about what you can or can't do with the Chromebook without a wifi connection, but it will definitely work better when you are on wifi.
