topic Sony HDTV with Google TV - thoughts? in Electronics

We're in the market for a new TV and DH wants the 46" Sony with Google Tv;most of the reviews aren't great and i'm leary of the new technology with "bugs " yet to be worked out. He's not tech saavy and neither am I but I'd be willing to try it as long as the tv itself was good. It's pretty pricey so want to make educated decision. Anybody own this?

thanks!
