I am the one who was upset when I went to Chrome over Internet Explorer to be safe. Many of my icons converted to a big blue globe. I put icons on my desktop so I don't have to hunt for them. IE uses the trademark icon, apparently Chrome may or may not.

What a surprise this morning when I got up... all my Chrome icons on the desk top were back to the original distinct look.... color and design and all.

Does anyone knows what might have happened?

I was told to change everything over to Chrome because IE was compromised. And since I drag icons to my desktop for convenience I had no idea they would turn to globes, all looking alike. Well not all of them but most of them. Crazy, but not much fun trying to tell them apart. I had all but given up when I woke up one morning, yesterday and all the logo icons were back. No clue, no idea. Not sure I really care, but I am soooo curious. Like little elves showing up and doing me a favor just in time for mothers' day.
