I don't do climbing plants.

I just got an acrylic and fur bench for my daughter's room at the end of her bed. I see acrylic everywhere now.

I do love blue too!

I'm going to save a lot of money! I don't like any of the new trends on the slideshow. I'll just keep my cozy stuffed couches and chairs and beautiful wood pieces. No acrylic and the comtemporary that was shown appealed to me.

LOL. "nightstands". Did those go out of style when I was using mine? Did other people use the floor, or maybe a chair, instead of a nightstand? Did they drag in their coffee tables?

I don't do plants and you couldn't pay me enough to do wallpaper.

I like the copper but I would get sick of it very quickly.

We are doing brushed nickel in our house in the rooms we are remodeling like the kitchen and bathroom.

I'm toying with the idea of using wall paper in our bedroom on the wall behind the bed. There are some really pretty patterns. I like the tonal geometric prints - not florals or a ton of colors.

I would never do a whole whole room of it though Lol

I stopped into a thrift store on Saturday and they had a vintage set of 4 acrylic chairs. The back was sort of scalloped and the legs were even clear!

The cushions were a mauve color, but they were in excellent shape.

The store printed some website's page advertising a similar set of chairs for over $1000! They wanted $320 for the set. Cool, but not my taste.

There is a home show coming up in my area. I need to check it out.

I pretty much don't like house plants. Most look like a nasty jungle to me, so climbing plants would be a 'no'.

Acrylic is so not in my decor style, so 'no'.

I'm cool with copper, as I love various metals. Won't be changing anything to it, but I like it.

I've always used blues. Love them.

Farmhouse style is nice too. Not sure I have that, and have no reason to change my furniture, but again, I like it.

I still have a couple of rooms with wallpaper, and most of them I love as much as I did 22 years ago when I chose it. I think it holds up better than paint (for us, we are easy on the walls). Not a fan of that marbled paper though.

And we still have nightstands. Wasn't aware they ever went out.

hygge....well been doing that my whole life, just now it has this weird name attached to it!

I'm anti-wallpaper because our kitchen and both bathrooms were wallpapered. LOL What a pain to take down rather than being able to just paint. Luckily the wallpaper that was there was really good so it was easy enough to rip off but there was still glue that had to be washed off the walls.

They are showing it more again. For awhile you never saw it anymore.

The one thing I've been seeing a lot is gold hardware now again. That is another thing that is supposed to be coming back. I've noticed on HGTV they are using gold in more and more renovations. Not as much as brushed or polished nickel/stainless but I never saw it before. That is another trend I'm not digging.

Some of the stuff I like but it's not my personal style. I love blues and actually have toyed with painting my bathroom walls a deep blue. I just can't commit. I also love a farmhouse style but my house doesn't lend itself towards that.

I am not anti-wallpaper, but when we bought our home, the kitchen and both baths were completely wallpapered and it took foreve to get off....I do like the idea of just one wall papered, they do have some really pretty designs now..I would consider doing one wall.I don't care to do plants indoors, I don't care for Acrylic, but I do like blue and copper.......

I couldn't quite figure out the night table trend, either. I've always had them. I think they might be suggesting that they're being used in other areas of the home for adding interest. I can see that. I could use one next to my favorite chair in my livingroom.

Farmhouse style is a favorite, probably because I grew up in the country. As far as nightstands, how could anyone do without? That's one gripe I have with my bedroom set- it only came with one nightstand, and being I was the second owner, I couldn't get another. I just have a little table on my side of the bed.

My house is minimalist so I don't do trends. But thanks for sharing @house_cat. Some things are just nice to look at.
