Decorating idea/question - home office/getaway space

I am working on a plan for my office/getaway. I work from home a few days a week, so my desk space and file cabinet, printer, etc. must be there.

For the more personal space, I am debating between two stuffed chairs, or a loveseat/settee or a daybed. The room is quite small (11' x 11' , I think). It is an actual bedroom in our home, but we don't use it for that purpose.

Which seating do you think would do best from what I described? I use it mainly for sitting and reading, watching movies/TV shows rather than keeping hubby awake in our bedroom watching in there. Or just when Mommy needs a bit of time alone.

I am debating on the color for the walls too. I originally thought of a cream and lilac (two walls each), so that it was colorful, but not overwhelming. I saw a dove gray room, and it looked gorgeous in the magazine, but in reality, I wonder if it will be to "shrinking" to the room. I am going to add throw pillows and other decorative items, but not too much. Just a side table with a lamp to hold my cup of tea/ice water; an area rug.

Aw Shucks! I hope the OP sees this and updates us on how things worked out! I'm curious!

I wonder if they're do some work on the boards. I've been noticing the word "New" in brackets on various posts and threads and i was confused by it.
