Has anyone considered or tried to make their own candle rings? I think I'm going to give it a whirl. I love the ones like Grandin Rd. has, but I almost had to mortgage my house when I bought the Christmas ones. I'm thinking of heading to JoAnnes, then maybe Michaels' next week and check out the supplies. There must be a ring to purchase to get started. Get out the hot glue gun and go for it. Anyone have any luck doing this?

I was at Dollar Tree yesterday. The woman 2 people in front of me bought $79 worth of artificial flowers. She was saying that she makes ornaments out of them by wrapping tiny lights around the flowers.

I had a home decor business and made my own floral items. The picture you posted looked like larger candle rings than the typical size. You might be able to find some smaller swags and/ or votive candle rings and just twist the ends together. This way you should have less or no additonal supplies to purchase.
