Hi xstitch-I don't think it's a perfect solution, but a few years ago on these boards someone recommended using the Scrubbing Bubbles Shower Spray--the one that attaches to some kind of device in the shower to automatically spray--but w/out the hanger/squirter device. Just the liquid cleaning stuff-which I used to be able to get at BJs in big refill bottles. I have not used it lately--but it did work well. I simply filled up a regular, empty spray bottle with the product and labeled it. Put it in my cabinet and would use it just about every other day on the tile walls of my shower. Helps to start with a very clean shower and then use the spray for upkeep. Not even sure if this product is still on the market as it's been about 3 years since it was really more popular. Hth!

you can buy virtually the same thing already in a spray bottle; I think it is called no-wipe shower cleaner or something like that; I am out of it right now or could give you the name. I just spray it around the perimeter of the tub and then wipe it down; works well for me.

scrubbing bubbles or the purple spray. OH gosh, can't think of the name, but it is purple.

I use either of these faithfully every week. Every Tuesday I spray down the shower and let it sit for an hour or two and then I wipe down with a flat sponge mop. all soap scum is gone.
