What's your favorite Yankee Candle scent?

I've been Enjoying burning candles lately and I picked up two Yankee candles today. I got vanilla cupcake in a small tumblr jar and a votive in pineapple cilantro. What are your favorites? Buttercream is another favorite of mine but I don't have it right now. I am limiting myself because I definitely don't need any more candles right now!

MacIntosh is very good. I like Hollyberry in Christmas and Christmas Wreath. I like their fruit scents--like Vineyard. Somehow they don't seem as strong as in the past, but their scents are definitely the best.

Macintosh has always been my very favorite Yankee fragrance.

I don't usually like the fruity scents, however I recently purchased rasberry and I'm really enjoying it. Very refreshing.

I've never smelled Macintosh so I'll check it out next time I'm at a store that sells the candles. I'm partial to the sweet bakery scents so it's never really interested me but it must be good!

Hmm, I just checked the Yankee website and they aren't selling it as a candle. I saw it today at Bed, Bath, and Beyond I believe. I wonder if they're phasing it out?

Strawberry buttercream is great too! I believe they may be phasing that one out as well too though.

My favorite Yankee Candle scents were Cucumber Melon, and Ocean Breeze, both have been discontinued:/ Another favorite which is still around is Balsam & Cedar, just like having a real tree!

i might just have to burn what I have left over for Christmas in July program!

Hi @RazorSharp!! My daughter bought me 2 candles and a bunch of tarts last Sept for my birthday. I have found that the tarts are stronger than the candles. We have a local store....I will have to go and see if they still have them. Another one I like is Silver Birch, both are woodsy. I got tired of the food smells and moved onto more earthy ones.

Thanks, @nunya! I've only used tarts a couple of times. I don't have anything against them, I am just a fan of the ambience of the candles. I'll have to see if BBB sells the tarts, and if not, I'll keep my eye on the website for a sale! I had a Silver Birch candle when they first came out a couple years ago, too. I felt that candle smelled much differently when lit, and I wasn't a fan. The only other YC I've liked is Leather, and they only sell them once and a while as they are limited edition.

I have been buying the tarts almost exclusively although I agree that the ambience of a candle is special. My favorite Yankee Candle scents are Margarita Time for summer and Cherries in Snow for winter. Unfortunately, I have noticed a real decline in the lasting power of Yankee Candle products. I have found several tarts at Joann Fabric and Michaels that I like almost as well, and the prices are cheaper.
