I love them - so much so that I am swapping out the mattress so it is not as high and the peachskin sheets will again fit! I appreciate the responses. I was looking at the LLBean sheets but on the LLbean site they don't get very good reviews, which was interesting. I don't think that saying "I only buy 100% cotton" really sums up anything - in the end, it largely depends upon who makes the sheets and the quality I think. It seems for Northern Nights it is just not there anymore. Those sheets used to be all I bought. I saw the hotel collection ones the other nite but I rarely buy anything from QVC anymore and never anything that does not have reviews. The entire presentation I saw they never once mentioned the mattress depth or the elastic around the fitted mattress, etc. so I thought the presentation did not have enough information to purchase anyway.

I do think if you spend $29.95 for a set of full or larger sheets and they last a year that's probably getting your money's worth out of them!

I did find Peachskin Sheets on Amazon for $69. I'm popping for some of those in next month's budget. They get super reviews!

Awhile back on here someone recommended peachskin sheets - love them and I have every color they had. I actually planned my new mattress depth to work with the sheets - unfortunately, while they advertise for 18" depth I cannot even get them on my 14.5" mattress! very sad about that. I cannot use (and would not because of chemicals) any no-wrinkle sheets. The microfiber at Target is nothing like the peachskin and not my favorite either. It seems the only high rated sheets on QVC anymore are fleece. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks!

I personally like the wrinkle resistant two-tone sheets that have been a TSV a couple of times. I wash them before using. They're wonderfully made and the bottom sheet never comes untucked.

Microfiber fabric is cheap and I find the sheets are cheaply made to reflect the price. The elastic soon loses its stretch and the bottom sheet is all over the place. Gave away the two sets I had.

Best sheets I have ever owned are the 300 thread count percale sheets sold under the Threshold brand at Target. These are a bargin and I have spent more than twice the price for the Threshold sheets on other brands that are not nearly as good.

I have had good luck with the Norther Nights sheets ( 500 + threadcount) and the jersey knit sheets on QVC. I also have a set of Conciage sheets (600+) sheets from HSN that are very nice.Mine are king size and have the deep pockets. I have a sleep number bed with a feather bed on top. All of mine have the 16" (or more) deep pocket and really do stretch over all of it. They all wash and wear very well. They feel nice and soft.

I ordered a set of microfiber Concierge Collection Queen/$29.95. HSN

I have had the set for one year and they have become nubby/pilly and now have a hole. ??

SO... now I have ordered 2 sets in white of 100%Cotton 300 thread count, Hotel Quality from QVC. Rick was showing them a few days ago, new item with no reviews yet. The pale yellow was aready on waitlist. These are Northern Nights Brand on QVC

The microfiber/poly was a bad experiment and I am going back to 100% cotton. I believe the cost of cotton is increasing so I went ahead and ordered 2 sets at just under $50 each.

Good LUCK! CAT

@violann You can buy real percale sheets from The Vermont Country Store. I have them for all of the beds in our house and use them in the warm months. The sheets are called " Clothesline Crisp" alluding to the good old days when mom hung them on the clothesline and they smelled so good. They come in two types. One for the newer taller mattresses and for the regular size. I have a Temperpedic and they fit just fine. Also, they have resin free percale sheets which are softer.

If I can get 18" I buy them.

I have developed a personal mattress combo that works pretty well for me, and with my Ol' buddy FIBRO, I really depend on my mattress system, but I need a really deep sheet, and even with my sheet garters, I have problems with some sheets.

I WILL go to the Vermont CS website and to LL Bean (2 of my long time favorites) and check out the Percales.

In the meantime, my mother's pillow slips continue to amaze me!

the microfiber ones I buy are not $29.95 - I think a set of pillowcases is that price and they have never pilled or shrunk.

Wish I could help. I'll keep checking. Have you looked at Northern Nights? Malden Mills sheets are 18" deep if you need Winter sheets. I use Malden in cooler months and they're the best.

The TSV sheets surely blew out of there today. I admit I looked at them several times and even put some in my cart. I just couldn't go through with it. I want 100% cotton percale and a low thread count. People just assume that a high thread count is more luxurious and that everyone should get the highest thread count possible - I was one of them. After doing a lot of reading, I finally have my answers on why I always end up too warm - too high of a thread count and materials that don't allow any airflow. We're getting a new bed, hence, new bedding. I'm going for a low thread count on sheet sets, duvet, and duvet cover. I can always add an extra blanket if I need to, but I want lightweight, breathable cotton. That said, I ended up ordering a couple sets of the 100% cotton 7-star hotel sheets on QVC dot com. I hope they measure up to the demo.

go to their site - they will send you free color swatches and they also always have two colors of the month that are cheaper than the usual price. I also think if you sign up for an email there was a special deal on the first order. I love them!
