I've been using the BioCleaner for a couple of years now and I have to say I LOVE THIS STUFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kind of silly to get so excited about something like this, and I tried another similar product from one of Q's big cleaning guys, and didn't think it was anywhere near as good as the Bio Cleaner.

I use it on stainless steel (sink and pots and pans shine better than when new), glassware that has water spots, stains, and hard water build up, fiberglass shower and tubs.

I collect vintage Pyrex, and it cleans that old paint on the outside of the bowls without scratching or dulling the paint, and the white insides, it takes the utensil marks right off. Cleans all the residue and dark marks off of Corningware, and Corelle dishes too. I even have a set of Temp-tations Vintage Grace cream dishes that were showing utensil marks and it took the marks off those dishes, all without scratching (I use it on all my vintage Pfaltzgraff for utensil marks too).

A while back, I noticed that this product got some not so good reviews, and I think because it isn't a 'magic' paste, but requires some elbow grease to make it work. It isn't as simple as spread it on and done.

I stocked up on this, as at one time, they had some trouble keeping it in stock. I figured it would be like the Super Cloths and be gone someday.

I don't want to ever be without this stuff, as I use it to clean pots and pans daily.

Count me in as a happy customer. This is the best stuff I've found to clean a glass cooktop.

I use this on all my sinks and it does a nice job, just make sure to rinse cause it can leave a film.

Is the French clay the Q backstory they always look to reel buyers in?

Is clay - just clay?

It seems that clay is the abrasive and cohesive component to the mix. They did state that it is not the only ingredient. There are soap crystals mixed in along with whatever scent you choose. Hard to say what the magic is per say but it does appear to work and people seem to like it. I was saying in another thread it reminds me quite a bit of another product sold by that home party business that begins with an "N" that sells "natural" cleaning products. Except their version sells for MUCH more. This is cheap enough that it seems like a super bargain compared to theirs. I'm definitely going to try it.

Though I have to snicker every time they say you are cleaning without chemicals, because that is misleading and completely false. Water is a chemical if you want to get techinical. They could say harmful or manufactured or man made, but you're still cleaning with chemicals here.

Thank you all for posting your reviews of this product. I just ordered it myself. I have tried numerous cleaners to get our stove top clean, and they barely work at all. I will be excited to give this a try on our stovetop, and on our glass shower doors which are a real pain to clean.

Of course I had just swore to myself that I would stop ordering from QVC for awhile -- but this does not count, as it is a cleaner, and I could have bought any old cleaner somewhere else! Clothes and jewelry are still off limits for me for now.

It is wonderful! There was a large burned spot on the inside of an old pot. I soaked the inside with this clay, just left it for several days, and when I cleaned it, the inside looked like new.

Some cleaners will scratch stainless steel, but not this clay.

It does a great job on my stainless steel sink and my ceramic cooktop.

I also used it recently to get some older stuff off the inside of the oven door. It didn't get everything, but did much more than I expected. I re-applied it several times, clearing it off after each application (and each scrubbing). I only used the sponge that came with it. And I can't scrub all that hard due to health issues.

It's also great for removing tea/coffee stains from the insides of cups if the dishwasher detergent isn't doing its job. (I tried a new dishwasher detergent that is not living up to its billing, but didn't want to toss it out.)

I agree with all the positive responses and suggestions you received from other Bio users. I just want to add that it is GREAT on silver - jewelry or serving pieces and so much less toxic than the traditional silver cleaners.

I cleaned my whole fiberglass tub with it today, as I have done before and use it for lots of other cleaning - stove top, sinks, etc. I don't think you'll regret buying it - just keep trying it around the house as noted by others!

Before these boards changed, I remember responding to a post requesting tried-&- true cleaners for fiberglass tubs.

The base of the master bath shower is fiberglass and I only use BarKeeper's Friend cleanser in the gold and blue can. Since it was really bad, I wet it down, liberally sprinkled the BKF cleanser and wet it down also. Used a long handled brush to spread it around and let it sit for 15 minutes. Rinsed and repeated the steps. WOW, bright white again.

BKF works beautifully on stainless steel sinks too. I can remember when we had the kitchen redone that the porcelain sink picked up many gray marks from pot, lids, etc and stains from coffee. Regular cleanser did nothing to banish the marks and stains.

HTH you to save time and $....

I am interested in this product so I tried to research. they do not list ingredients and only say it is clay mixed with soap flakes and mineral oil (I found on some blogger website on the net).

they did say it's not all as easy on some things, you do have to scrub a lot. Makes me think it would be hard to clean those oven racks and inside the oven without a lot of rubbing and scrubbing,

With all that said, again in trying to find more research, why is QVC the only place in the US that sells this? The only other place that came up was eBay so that doesn't count as a retailer. Before I buy anything I like to check other places for bargains. In this case I wanted to see if I could buy just one jar with the sponge and nope, nowhere. Those 3 tubs look like they'd last for years. Once you clean all your stainless steel pots and sinks I would think you wouldn't need to do that again for a long time.

When QVC sells something they always seem to sell multiples and with just me in the house I don't need months and months worth of products. Anyone else find this in singles somewhere? What happens when QVC sells out, you can't buy it again?
