If you need an inexpensive tall corner plant, get some thin bamboo stalks and wire / tape large leaves and some flowers to them. Place in a tall vase:

If you need storage and a TV stand, look for a clearance under counter cabinet:

How clever! Very nice ideas. I like re-purposing (is this a word?) things. I am always trying to come up with new things, but usually end up copying other people's brilliant ideas!!!
