Studio Park Sample Sale and Outlet

I'm lucky enough to live about 45 minutes away from the studio, so since I had off today I decided to pack up my mother and go and check it out. What damage we did! First there's an outlet not too far from there and we stopped there first. I must've bought so much Christmas in July stuff for 50% off it wasn't even funny. Then we went to the studio store and we were there in time for sample sale which we did not know was happening. I got the illuminated at church under glass (working!!) for $15! I was shocked it was there! The only thing that was missing was the mirror on the bottom but I'm not really too worried about that. I have to take inventory of everything we got but once I do I will post it here. I'm like giddy with excitement now that I know these treasure troves are so close!!

Hi J9, I'm drooling at the thought of being able to go where you went today. I'd be eating beans and cornbread for a month because I spent all the money. lol Do tell us what all you were able to get. I'm excited for you.

I totally will! My first house so I really need everything. I'm super excited. I forgot to also mention I got some of those square base mercury candle holders too for like $15. (I think they were a spring color - kind of goldish champagne yellow - but I can get away with it!)

Thanks for sharing! You got quite a lot of nice things between you and your mom and for such a great deal...congrats! I do suggest calling CS though. It has been mentioned in another thread that you can get the replacement mirror (I would expect at no charge) since yours was missing if you ask. It would be worth a try

Janine~ those square mercury glass pedestals are probably my most favorite item of Valerie's that I have ever purchased. I have them in gold, silver, green, red, chocolate & blue. They were $20 a set last year in the as is section. I LOVE them. A pair of one color or another is always on my fireplace mantel with the large "candle impression like" flameless candle that is available at Target. They come on each evening and are so beaiutiful. I never purchaed any of the spring colors, but will someday if I see them as is. You bought a great item!
