My neighbor says she changes her sheets EVERYDAY during the summer.

Really! Anyone else do this? Seems like a lot of extra work -- AND a lot of sheets AND laundry.

I change the sheets once a week, year round.

Does she run a B & B or have a part time job you're not aware of?

I keep my bedroom as cool in the Summer as I have it in the Winter! Why change the sheets more often if you don't perspire on them?

I don't even MAKE the bed everyday much less change the sheets!

That said, it would be nice to slip into a crisp, fresh bed every night...but not going to happen.

We don't use air conditioning so I have been known to change the sheets twice a week during the hottest months. I would love to have fresh sheets every day, but with our water restrictions, that will never happen.

when i use to get night sweats....i had to change my sheets daily....once i went through that cycle of my life...i went back to changing them once a week....

Maybe your neighbor does a lot of sweating in bed? I change mine weekly, don't enjoy doing it enough to do it daily.

I would love to sleep on clean sheets every night. But that just doesn't happen.

Some people are obsessed with clean sheets. One lady I know has to wash her sheets everyday as part of her OCD behavior. She isn't diagnosed, but just has to have fresh washed sheets each day. I do mine each week.

I don't think it's necessary now, but I might change my mind when hot flashes start (knock wood). I can't even imagine the misery and expense of extra laundry on top of hot flashes - bleargh. I keep the AC set to 74 late at night for the summers and have a fan on in the bedroom, as well.

Even when I lived in the desert and the overnight lows were in the 90s I didn't change the sheets daily. I do always shower before bed though. We kept the AC at around 82 but of course the humidity was very low.

Ha ha! It's Wednesday for me. Though I just came down with poison ivy and I just felt better changing them on Tuesday. Life's little routines.
