Has anyone purchased the outdoor electric grill from Qvc?

I was wondering if anyone had purchased the electric grill on qvc or really any outdoor electric grill? Thought I might get some feedback before purchasing one, I hate to get another impulse item I won't use! Thanks for your time. Maryanne

the masterbuilt one? it was one of my best purchases of 2014!

i keep it in the garage and actually cook in the garage in the colder weather. i have grilled chicken and chicken kababs, vegetables, and more. it isnt a charcoal grill, but it does a great job if you have limited space OR if you want to grill all year long. it heats up quickly, is easy to use, and is relatively easy to keep clean.

there are other threads on here with good reviews if you do some browsing.....hopefully a few more people will post on here also. it is a ""little grill"" that can cook quite a bit more than you may think. i can feed five people easily!

I bought QVC George Foreman electric grill 2 years ago - cooks great. I see the one being offered this year has a little different grill plate - looks like white/light metal - mine is black; but probably both the same in grilling and cleaning.

I loved our gas grill when hubby was alive - but being alone I'm not fussing with gas - electric is so safe - easy - and quick. Buy one - you won't be sorry.

PS Previously I bought a ???Master built where the electric coils are at the bottom of the bowl but getting it hot enough to satisfy a thick steak was an issue. With George the grill plate is what heats up ...so immediate heat hits the food. Just thought that might be helpful. Gave the ""M"" away.

We have the Masterbuilt electric. Love it. We keep it on the screen room with the cover on it. Works great and has lots of space. I use it a lot. I never used the big gas one we had.

Didn't care for the Masterbuilt electric grill, but the George Forman grill is much easier to use and clean and we really like it and use it often.

Got the George Forman a few years ago when it was a TSV. For just the two of us it is great. Heats quickly, cleans up easily. Use it quite a bit in the spring and summer.

I purchased a small george foreman outdoor electric grill about 3-4 years ago and it is nice but small, it is just me and hubby and we don't use it often, it was okay but honeslty, i would not have purchased it if I did more grilling then every once and a while.

I would not buy it again if given the choice, i think we used it once.

I purchased the Masterbuilt one for my husband for an early Father's Day gift, and we have used it so much!!!Love it......My husband does not like to grill on Charcoal or Gas grills, but this one he loves. It is very easy and not so small that you couldn't fit quite a few pieces of meat on it, and it tastes delicious......This has been a great purchase!!!!!

I have the George Foreman outdoor electric grill purchased from QVC a couple of years ago and love it! Just saw last week that Costco has the same one for $69. Bought it for back-up just in case.

Usually people grill outside to get the charcoal/wood smoke flavor in their food. Doesn't the George Foreman grilled food taste just like it was cooked in the kitchen? I don't get the point of hauling everything outside.

Finally purchased a nice cuisine art grill ..love it so sleek ,hauled the big grill out to the garage, will be giving that away! Cooked mother's day for mom ,husband and I ,tasty and no charcoal taste , mom wants one at 81 now and getting another one for for our adk.home! Same 80 dollars! Thanks guys! Maryanne

I bought a red Masterbuilt electric grill recently and it's awesome. There was a small flaw in one of the pieces and their customer service was very understanding and replaced it within about 3 days at their expense. Now that's a company I can highly recommend!

I use it frequently and I've found if you keep the lid closed when cooking you get the same smokey grilled flavor in your food as with other methods. And it's a perfect size for cooking for one or two people. I used to avoid grilling because I had to fire up the big charcoal grill, wait for the coals to be ready, and then it really just seemed wasteful to use so much charcoal and time to cook something for a quick supper. This one is quick and easy and makes grilling fun again. It even came with a grill pan that lets you cook veggies and things that might fall through the regular grill surface. I think you would love the little Masterbuilt grill!
