I have one of Valerie's faux leather ottomans & it has a swipe of ink along one side of the lid. Is there a way to safely remove it without ruining the finish?

TIA.

Honestly, I would try a little bit of alcohol on a tissue.

I use those automotive leather seat cleaning wipes for cleaning our leather couches. You might try one of those. They are moisturizing, remove dirt and oil on real leather, so they may work on your faux leather.

I remember my mom always used to use alcohol or hair spray on a Kleenex to remove scuffs and ink marks on her white handbags and shoes. That might work.

Thanks for the suggestions. I actually thought about using Magic Eraser but the package I have says not to use on shiny surfaces. I googled & read that it will dull the finish.

Using a car seat cleaner sounds safer (or less risky) than other things. I think I'll pick some up tomorrow afternoon & try it.

All the above and also finger nail polish remover with acetone and cigarette lighter fluid, both of which have many uses.
